NewtonWorks launches rubber seal analysis tool in Europe | Rubber News

TOKYO—NewtonWorks Corp. has launched its new NewtonSuite eSeal testing technology in Europe, which the company claims will "redefine rubber seal analysis" across the continent.

The new tool, one of a few new testing technologies announced for 2025, is powered by nonlinear analysis tool ADINA. The company said it can perform contact, rubber and large deformation analysis within minutes.

Naomichi Taketa, account manager at NewtonWorks, said that unlike most traditional finite element analysis methods, eSeal "enables in-house design engineers to seamless execute advanced simulations."

"We worked closely with our partners to develop a comprehensive FEA analysis tool specifically designed for the needs of design engineers," Taketa said. "It's not just a tool but a testament to our team's commitment to developing revolutionary products that push traditional boundaries. We're pleased to offer NewtonWorks eSeal to European partners. It will help rubber seal analysis to become easier, more efficient and self-enabling for engineering teams."

The technology is easy to use, the company said, and can both lower costs and shorten development timelines for seal designers. The eSeal can be used for dynamic seal assembly for dust and waterproofing, predicting contact part deformations before they happen and even distribution of contact pressure, company officials said.

The NewtonSuite eSeal is available across the European market.
